Hello Everyone,
I recently had the pleasure of being the makeup artist for a photo shoot with the beautiful model Olivia Paladin for the clothing brand Young & Reckless. Olivia came to my studio in Calabasas to get her hair and makeup prior to the shoot and the photo shoot took place on the beach in Malibu. Olivia as you can see is absolutely gorgeous and a pleasure to work with. She is an accomplished model and actress that has worked with a wide variety of brands and events including Hush Los Angeles, LA Fashion week, BMW and Paul Mitchell. I did this shoot in conjunction with my good friend and amazingly talented photographer Brittany Berggren. Every time I work with Brittany we produce awesome work together and this time was no different. You can view some of the shoots that I have worked on with Brittany here.
I absolutely love how these photos came out- the location in Malibu where this photo shoot was done provides a spectacular scenery for a shoot and it is for this reason I always welcome the opportunity to be the makeup artist for photo shoots in Malibu. My favorite shot thus far is the photo above of Olivia posing on the rocks- usually I like the photo that best shows the model’s hair and makeup but from this shoot that photo is the winner for me.
I want to thank everyone involved in producing this wonderful work. Everyone from Olivia, Brittany to Brittany’s assistant Christine Nicole did an incredible job- I am blessed to work with such talented people. Looking forward to working with them all again.
