Today I am sharing with you a few photos from a wedding I was the hair stylist for in Santa Barbara, CA for a beautiful and sweet bride I was put in touch with named Lisa. As I write this update I am beginning to realize how rare of an occasion it is that I work on a bride and only do her hair and not her makeup, which was the case in this particular instance. This happens maybe once a year or every couple of years. Whenever I get an inquiry to do solely a bride’s hair I usually have to pass, but after talking to Lisa and realizing she is an absolute sweet heart and I was happy to accommodate her. Sometimes you just have to make exceptions!
As you can see from the photos, Lisa made for a beautiful bride and her side-swept updo looked fantastic on her. Although I tend to enjoy doing my bride’s makeup a little bit more, I really enjoyed the opportunity to get creative with Lisa’s hair. The flowers in her hair are real flowers, which made for a little bit of a challenge but in the end I think looked very good.
